Matty Litwack

Winner of Kumite 4.2 in winter 2016.

Victories: Matty was the big winner at Comedy Kumite 4.2, held in January 2016.

Official Bio: Matty is a rising star in the comedy world with a unique origin story. He was raised in an Orthodox Jewish family as the youngest of 5 brothers, spending most of his education home-schooled. Matty earned his GED and entered community college at the age of 15, and by the age of 21 he was a PhD student in Nuclear Physics at George Washington University. After completing 30% of his PhD (basically just the P), Matty had a quarter life crisis and dropped out of graduate school to pursue comedy. He quickly realized he had no money and took a job sweeping floors in a warehouse, becoming the first person to successfully execute a reverse-Good-Will-Hunting maneuver. Since then, Matty’s writing has been featured in the Washington Post, New Zealand Herald, and Scientific American. Matty has performed at Tig Notaro’s Bentzen Ball, San Francisco Sketchfest, the Kennedy Center and in 2015 he was a finalist in the prestigious Boston Comedy Festival.
